Liturgical Anthropology

I go to Church a lot. I'm an Episcopalian (formerly a catholicish Methodist, turned MCCer) . I'm also an aspiring Priest and Anthropologist( of the socio-cultural variety). Also, I'm a gay with a wonderful Boyfriend. This blog will likely be a combination of churchy things, anthropology, and things I find amusing. Please forgive my grammar and style, because most of my writing on here is stream of consciousness. I don't argue.

You’d think war would be kind of an important thing for Catholics to be thinking about right?

Probably some Peace and Justice committee somewhere has said something. But the fact that we have to ask and no one has to ask what say, Dolan’s opinion on same-sex marriage is, or say, the USCCB’s opinion of Elizabeth Johnson’s Quest for the Living God is, says a lot about their priorities.

As a Catholic, I am only pro war in the case of a war against the powerful homosexuals and their homosexual steamroller.
